 What is the Golf Fitness Challenge?

The Golf Fitness Challenge is a 6 week contest designed to improve your health, fitness and golf playing performance. Through our mutual backgrounds and education, we have learned the fastest, safest and most efficient way to work out and improve your body. We have also learned one of the greatest motivators to move you into immediate action-a challenge with a specific beginning and ending date. We also believe you have your best chance of improving golf performance by engaging in a targeted approach to health and fitness. 

Here are some reasons you want to enter the Challenge.

-you are a golfer who wants to lose weight

-you are a golfer who wants to drive the ball further

-you are a golfer who wants to reduce their handicap using fitness

-you are a golfer who wants to improve their fitness to play better golf

-you are a golfer who wants to improve their flexibility

-you are a golfer who wants to strengthen and tone their bodies for golf

 

What are the Challenge dates for 2009?

Start Date

April 20th thru May 31st

September 7th thru October 18th

 

 

Here are the prizes for the Transformation Contest

  • Grand Prize - $1000 & a 3-year Fitness for Golf and Platinum Turbulence Training Membership, At Home Training Kit which includes Nike Travel workout bag, fitness ball with pump, fitness band, massage self roller and stretch strap

  • Second Place - $750 & a 2-year Fitness for Golf and Platinum Turbulence Training Membership

  • Third Place - $500 & a 1-Year Fitness for Golf and Platinum Turbulence Training Membership

And here are the Golf Fitness Challenge Transformation rules:

1) You must have use the Golf Fitness Challenge programs to achieve your results.

2) You must take a before and after photo of yourself at home or on the course. Please include a photo or copy of your handicap card showing your beginning and ending handicap for verification of handicap changes that occur over the 6 weeks.

3) You must adhere to the challenge dates as posted above. Each client has 6 weeks to complete their transformation.

4) The Contest will be judged by Craig Ballantyne and Susan Hill.

5) In addition to providing Before & After Photos, each contestant must write a 300 word essay on their before and after success story. How was your playing performance, health and fitness improved for golf? What changes did you make and what benefit did you see to yourself and your game?

 How do I sign up for the Golf Fitness Challenge 2009?

-Begin by taking a before photo of yourself and making a copy of your handicap card. Send it to contest@golffitnesschallenge.com within 3 days of the start date of the challenge date you choose.

Simply follow one of the Golf Fitness Challenge programs for 6 weeks and record your results.

- Take after photo and write 300 word essay explaining how the challenge affected your body, your health, your fitness and/or your playing performance. Make a new copy of your handicap card assuming the handicap has changed. Send to contest@golffitnesschallenge.com within 3 days of your contest ending date.

All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.

Contest Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, illegible, incomplete, postage-due, garbled or misdirected entries or entries that have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy the Contest Rules or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the contest.

The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Contest should an external circumstances arise which are beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Sponsor. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest.

The Contest Sponsor collects your personal information for the purposes of registration, program evaluation and to keep you informed about The Challenge. The Contest Sponsor may, if consent was given during registration, also contact you from time to time with information about other ways you can lose weight.

The Contest Sponsor will not share any personal data about entrants with any
other party. The personal data collected for this Contest will not be used for any other purposes unless entrants provide explicit permission as indicated on the entry form. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor and their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors, assigns, advertising and promotional agencies from any liability for any loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person in connection with this Contest or participation in any Contest related activities.

This Contest will run in accordance with these Contest Rules, subject to amendment by the Contest Sponsor. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, amend, modify or terminate this Contest or the Rules at any time in its sole discretion and without notice.

Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
